What Is A Heat Pump?
A heat pump is a standalone, two-component appliance that uses refrigeration technology and electricity to provide heating and cooling for homes, businesses and other applications. Heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners for almost all climates.
A heat pump has two main components – a condenser unit that most often sits outside of a home that produces the heating or cooling, and an indoor unit that then pumps the hot or cool air into the home.

How does a Heat Pump Work?
Unlike traditional heating systems like furnaces that use gas to create heat, heat pumps are entirely electric. These systems are called heat pump because it conditions your home’s indoor climate by redistributing the heat that’s already in the air. In the winter, it extracts heat from the outside environment and pumps it inside your home.
In the summer, the process is reversed and the system takes the existing heat from inside your home and moves it outside. Because heat pumps transfer heat rather than generate heat, heat pumps can efficiently provide comfortable temperatures for your home while saving you money by reducing monthly/yearly utility costs.

"Martin was very professional and knowledgeable. He was patient with my questions and delivered excellent service. Red Apple is the only company I have used for my properties, and they maintain the history of the services and warranties. I trust them. Best decision I made was to have them come to my property yearly for maintenances".
